Alexis

We got the opportunity to have Alexis come spend the night with us this last weekend. We went to JumpTime, out for pizza, watched a movie, went to the park and on a small bike ride. It was a lot of fun for me to sit there and watch her and Emily playing. It brought back a lot of memories and a lot of emotions. I'm so thankful that her and her family are all healthy and doing well and that I can have a relationship with her mom and that she allows me to keep in contact with Alexis. If you were wondering Alexis is 8 now {she was just 2 1/2 when she came into our lives} and in 3rd grade, she has grown up so much, but is just the sweetest ball of energy!! Alexis and I looked at some old pictures from when she lived with us and it was really neat to go through those with her and talk about those memories ... like when she cut her hair at her parents house, our first Christmas with her, her and Echo, Eric putting make-up on her, her playing dress up with Faith, going to a pig farm and the zoo ... we had a lot of fun back then and it was exciting to see things kind of come full circle. We love you Alexis!!!!
