Life as the BIG sister

Being a new BIG sister has been an adjustment for Emily, it seems to be really setting in now compared to when Rylee first arrived. She LOVES Rylee that's for sure!!! However if she see Rylee drinking a bottle she asks me for milk, if she sees Rylee's binky she steals it for herself, if Rylee has a blanket she goes and gets her blanket, if I'm holding Rylee she needs to sit right next to me. She isn't mad Rylee is here but I think she is starting to get a little jealous!!!  We knew it would obviously be a big change for Emily bringing Rylee home so we've been trying to make her feel extra important and Daddy has been spending a lot of time with her. But at the same time she has been getting into a lot more trouble for being rough with Rylee or too loud, so it's a on-going adjustment. She is a really great big sister though. She's loved Rylee from the moment they met and has been so excited about her!! She loves talking to Rylee and giving her hugs and kisses and she shakes her hand and tells her "good morning" when Rylee is screaming Emily will say "R-y-l-e-e" real loud and she likes to help hold the bottle and feed her. She gives Rylee high fives. She tries to put her binky in her mouth when she cries. She loves to play on the ground with her and she likes to hold her. She is a big helper with throwing dirty diapers in the trash and getting me wipes and new diapers. She tells everyone that it's her "baby sister Rylee" she grabbed her toes today and said "aw cute" and asked to hold her hand. She's a great big sister and I can tell Emily is going to have so much fun with her once she gets a little older!!!
