3-8!!

Eric turned 38 this week!! We had plans to celebrate with his Dad & Dot but it turned out to be a very busy day for him and he ended up not getting home from work until after 8pm so we just had cake and put Emily to bed, pretty unexciting for a birthday but when you're almost 40 { :) seems so old hehe :) } it's just not that important any more I guess. Someone told me the other day that once you forget how old you are is when  your kid's birthdays become the real joy and fun ... I guess it's true. Here is the pretty cake I made Eric ... it turned out pretty good for my first time making a fancy-ish cake :) HAPPY BIRTHDAY ERIC .... WE LOVE YOU!!!!!!!
