Since Emily is about 5 1/2 months old I've decided to start her on solid foods. I wanted to wait until next month, just to prevent any food allergies, but she has started to watch me eat and it almost makes her mad, sometimes she'll even stick out her tongue for me to put my food on it. Today she licked my apple and my ice cream, so I thought she obviously wants food. So I've given her rice cereal, but she didn't like that, so we tried oatmeal and she likes that, but what she really LOVES is bananas! She also loves water in her new sippy cup ... she is just getting too big too fast!
